About Fred Cutter

I remind myself each day I’m one day closer to the end of my life.

My professional life began in and continues within the financial services sector. I began  as an equities and derivatives for Charles Schwab, and later served in private banking for Banc One Securities. After 9-11, I enlisted and later commissioned in the United States Army. I now run a financial advisory practice providing personalized, high touch service to a select clientele desiring assistance across a spectrum of planning needs.

My writing career is far more modest. I’ve published four short stories, two of which are available for reading on this website. I write essays that reflect on various facets of existence,  philosophy, writing, business, psychology, metaphysics… These are titled Meditations.

My personal interests are diverse, but they all derive from my ongoing fascination with human behavior and the evolution of our existence.
